Carraig Gheal Wind Farm

New Members Needed for Carraig Gheal Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund Steering Group

WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP ENSURE  FUNDS ARE INVESTED TO THE BENEFIT OF YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES EACH YEAR?

A NEW COMMUNITY COUNCIL MEMBER OF THE STEERING GROUP FOR CARRAIG GHEAL WIND FARM COMMUNITY BENEFIT FUND IS NEEDED FROM TAYNUILT COMMUNITY COUNCIL AREA.

What is involved?  The Steering Group will meet a minimum of twice a year to decide on the best use of the funds. This will include deciding on funding criteria and making decisions on individual funding applications. The Steering Group will be supported Jennie Cowley of GreenPower who will help ensure the smooth running of the fund and the application process.

How can I put myself forward?  If you are a permanent resident within the eligible Community Council areas and are over the age of 16 you are welcome to put yourself forward. Send your name, contact details and a statement of up to 250 words to jennifer@greenpowerinternational.com

The statement should outline why you are interested in joining the Steering Group and what skills, insights and/or expertise you think you could bring to it.

In the event of there being more than one application for your Community Council area there will be a selection process. GreenPower will notify you on close of nominations about whether this will be required or not.
